What curtain should I put on the window?

07/07/2021

In a previous article we talked about how to choose curtains but we mainly dealt with the balcony doors. What do we do when we have a window in the living room? What do we do when we have a window in the kitchen, the bedroom, the children’s room? So we will try to give answers to the question "What curtain should I put on the window?"

Roman: The window itself is a frame on our wall, so our curtain must frame this frame. The Roman curtain is sewn stretched and does not make a fringe, it is also a "frame". Roman gives high aesthetics to the space, functionality so that we can use the window without the curtain getting clogged, in case there is a radiator under the window, it protects our objects from the sun and is easily combined with the other curtains of the space. Tip! if we have a balcony door and a window in the living room, the outer curtain of the balcony door will be the roman in the window.

Roller (roller curtain): Roller does the same job as the novel. Gives a frame to the window and gives a modern aesthetic.

Advantages of the Roller: -easy to install - easy to use - no need to wash (washable only locally) - much cheaper than the novel - infinite design options - variety of applications. Tip! the roller is combined with the inner curtain of the balcony door of the living room

Regular curtain: In case we do not want either a novel or a roller then the curtain must be up to the floor. Why; First of all it looks richer - it fills our space - it is more elegant - it gives a feeling that you have a balcony door and not a window - the Tip space grows! in small windows and small spaces we avoid bold designs because they "catch" the eye badly.
